A collection of true stories of real men, highly respected, that leave indelible footprints in their live journey. Men who choose to live true to their core values, tried-and-true principals, with commitment to family and irrefutable courage.
Real Men Don’t Play” is a literary walk with me through a lifetime of meeting, studying and chronicling the exploits of flesh and bone examples of men that continue to represent the best practices of manhood. Along this journey you will discover that men are famous and infamous; professionals and blue collar. It will become apparent that men come in all shapes, colors, sizes and dispositions. The men profiled in this book have incredible tales of accomplishment while in
many instances weathering gale force storms during the course of their lives. The common thread is that real men accept responsibility for their actions, take care of their business and care for those that they love.
The inspiration for this book emanates from my desire to raise the bar of expectation for this and coming generations of the male species. I doubt we could or should return to the days when men where the unquestioned rulers of the household. After all, we are not perfect and women play an indisputable role in the sustenance and advancement of civilization. However it is important that men regain a measure of respect, productivity and leadership if our society is to survive and thrive in these perilous and confusing times.
So, enjoy the discovery. The men you’ll meet in this book have walked the walk and left indelible footprints.
